Jetwash received a contract in July 2013, for the construction of a 140 Sow Farrowing House. The project involved a full turnkey development, comprising baseworks, steel fabrication and erection of the main structure and full onsite installation and completion of the facility in-line with the specification as detailed below.
- External Roofing – GRP Roof Sheeting
- Roof Insulation – Fibreglass (Thickness 50mm / 1 mtr wide sheets / Jointed with a PVC H-Profile)
- Walling – Bonded GRP Insulated Panels – high impact GRP White Gloss interior finish
- Flooring – Premium Plastic Slatted Panels with heated panels in the piglet lying areas
- FC14 Climate Control Regulation System and TC2 Telephone Alarm
- Galvanized steel farrowing crates with stainless steel troughs
- Easy clean PVC division gables and walls (Thickness 35mm / Height 500mm)
- Feeding – Installation of Liquid Feed System
